Luis Cuauhtemoc Berriozabal – Rain and Fire

Luis Cuauhtemoc Berriozabal

Rain and Fire

It started raining
in Southern California

this afternoon.
The clouds have blocked out
the sun and that is a good thing.

Not far from where I
live the mountains are on fire.
This past Monday,
you could see this spectacular,
but terrible outline of fire
in the mountains.

The Santa Ana winds have blown
all week and it has felt
more like summer this fall.

Hopefully, this rain can help
put out the fire.
