Billy X. O’Brien
Just got back from swimming:
are you still doing this?
every plane i see in the sky is a bomb.
the city has been taken over by militant rebel guerrillas from africa.
you can not walk the streets of this city without the fear of being shot.
Today I swam for 30 minutes (1:40 – 2:10 p.m.)
200 warm up
4 x 100
1 x 250
3 x 100
1 lap is 50 so 100 is 2 laps and 200 is 4 laps.
It’s not much but it’s a start.
My goal for the next week or so is to increase the 1 x 250 to 1 x 500
and get the 3 x 100 up to 4 x 100, and maybe throw in some 50 sprints.
It’s 2:42 p.m.
I will walk across the city to my acupuncture appointment at 4:30 p.m.
I will pick up a sandwich along the way and eat it on a bench, maybe in
copley square, yes in copley square.
I will listen to european house music from the 21st century.
I will imagine that the people walking by are drops of water on a hot skillet.
I will think the sky is blue and the future is groundless.
