Instruction These Hyperbole turns an instruction manual into a sequence of grammatical accidents, emotional hardware, tools, and absurd procedures. Licorice Stilettos compresses a doll house, clothing, domestic fixtures, music, and miniature figures into a tightly packed scene of continuous transformation.
Nude #7, Ticker Taping, and Western Setting
Nude #7 moves through school, fashion, anatomy, weather, color, and time zones. Ticker Taping mixes performance, finance, architecture, television, and public spectacle. Western Setting carries desert imagery, geology, scandal, dogs, freight, drought, and cinematic western language through another chain of comic dislocations.
Language in collision
Across the seven poems, Moulding repeatedly makes familiar vocabularies collide. Commerce meets weather, instructions meet emotion, bodies meet machinery, and ordinary phrases acquire strange new jobs. The poems gain momentum from those collisions and from the speed with which one register gives way to the next.
