Kevin McFadden – Variations to Bring Down the House

Variations to Bring Down the House with a Stovepipe

A house divided cannot stand.
Odd-hatted vision, sad nuance
in seat, a donned void.  Dash-cut
to a scene: “I’d hunt on, Davis, add
thousands dead, divine act, no
added sin.”  Staunch devotion, a
Union and its shed caveat.  Odd
sands and a devout diction.  He
intended a sound, staid havoc.
Tension added chaos.  Avid nut
as a vindicated South.  End nod
evident, candid.  A sound, a shot,
a hidden son, sudden act.  O vita
nova.  O dissident dance.  A thud.
